FAQs

Q: Do you offer ceremony services?

A: Yes! You can either add ceremony services to either of our packages or choose The Complete Wedding to ensure that you will have ceremony music.

Q: What will the initial meeting be like?

A: We will either come out to your house or a location of your preference. The meeting typically takes about an hour. During the meeting, we will discuss your taste in music so we can get a feel for what kind of music you would want to hear played at the wedding. We will also fill out paperwork and make sure we have a list of your songs you want played during the wedding. We will also get names of your parents and people in your bridal party for the introductions. During the initial meeting, this is also the time for us to go through and pick songs for each part of your evening so that each of the song we play is something you have chosen. We will also create a no play list so we make sure that one song you cannot stand does not get played.

Q: What if there’s a song I want that you do not have?

A: It is very unlikely that we will not have a song that you want. We keep our library updated with the latest hits and have some oldies but goodies as well. If we find that we do not have a song that you want after the initial meeting, we will be sure to get the song before your wedding.

Q: How does a wedding typically go from start to finish?

A: This is your night so it is entirely up to you how you want to arrange the order of everything in your wedding. Typically, the ceremony will start and the precessional song will start playing. This is when your bridesmaids will start walking down the aisle. After the bridesmaids, the processional song will play and the runner is laid down. Then the flower girl goes and then comes the bride. After the ceremony, the recessional song is played and the bride and groom will leave first, followed by the bridal party.

This tends to lead to cocktail hour where you will be free to mingle with guests and take pictures. Cocktail hour music will be played in the background. After that, introductions are made and you are introduced as man and wife for the first time. We strongly suggest that right after the introductions that you cut your cake. This way, your cake is not sitting out longer than it should and would ensure that you will not forget about it. The dinner starts to be served after introductions and during this time, toasts are made. Dinner music will be played throughout your dinner. Once dinner is done, you’ll be able to do your first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son dance. The dance floor is then opened up. After a few songs, the bride and groom may decide to do the bouquet toss and garter toss then.

Again, this is your night so it is entirely up to you how you want to plan your big day. Some people might change the order of things and that is perfectly fine with us. We are flexible with your plans for the evening and dedicated to make it memorable.

Q: How much experience do you have?

A: Our owner and main DJ, Brian, has over 23 years of experience. He is personable, friendly, and very dedicated to making your night a night you will never forget.

Q: What happens in an emergency and our DJ cannot make the show?

A: It has been very rare that our DJ will not show up for a gig. But if there was an absolute emergency, we have backup DJs to ensure that someone is there for your event.

Q: What does the DJ need in order to be able to set up the equipment?

A: We can provide our own tables and wires and everything else. The one thing we will need is that there is an outlet nearby to your ceremony or reception area for where you want us to set up. If the outlet will be far away, please let us know so we know to bring some extension cords.

Q: What are the payment terms and can we do a payment plan?

A: We do require a $150 deposit when the contract is signed. This amount will go towards your final bill. Full payment needs to be made by the date of the event. You can set up to pay us on a monthly basis up to day of the event.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: We will need at least a 48 hour notice for any cancellations. In the event you cancel with us, the deposit is non-refundable. However, if you decide to go with us in the future, we can use that deposit and put it towards the new event.
